Why the body needs restored
Peace & Wellness
I want to review this post an open this discussion back open for further commentary:
Before we can Restore the Soil Body, we must acknowledge how it becomes destabilized.
The Destabilization of the Soil Body
Our physical body is often called the soil body in holistic traditions, a profound metaphor that speaks to the foundational nature of our earthly vessel. Just as soil nourishes and sustains life, our body serves as the ground from which our consciousness, creativity, and purpose can flourish. Yet from our earliest moments of life, this sacred foundation faces countless forces of destabilization that ripple through every aspect of our being.
The journey of energetic imbalance often begins in infancy, centered in the root chakra, or Muladhara. This energy center, located at the base of the spine, governs our sense of safety, security, and connection to the physical world. When a baby experiences trauma, neglect, inconsistent caregiving, or environmental stress, the root chakra begins to store these experiences as energetic imprints. The infant who cries without being comforted, who feels unsafe in their environment, or who lacks stable attachment begins life with a destabilized foundation.
This early disruption creates a cascade effect throughout the entire chakra system. An unstable root means the sacral chakra struggles to develop healthy emotional expression and creativity. The solar plexus cannot form strong boundaries and self-confidence when built upon shaky ground. Each subsequent energy center attempts to compensate for the weakness below, creating patterns of imbalance that become deeply woven into our energetic and physical body.
As we move through childhood and into adulthood, our chakra system becomes increasingly burdened. Every harsh word we internalize, every moment of rejection, every instance of suppressed emotion adds another layer of negative energy to our field. These energies do not simply evaporate. They settle into our tissues, organs, and energy centers like sediment accumulating in a riverbed.
Next time, we will discuss other causes of Soil Body Destabilization, but for now share your thoughts in the comments. Are you aware of how your upbringing is affecting you today? Do you internalize every mean comment? Do you allow people to impose themselves on you and your time because you feel obligated? Or, are you already aware and done the work to release these old energies? If so, what advice can you offer those who have not?
